In the course of last few years because of scientific & technological developments the telecommunications branch which was on the way of becoming absolete from the academic field ,has now gained importance in the academic field & is now coupled with electronics & one of the courses offered is Electronics & Telecommunications.

This branch of engg will train a student to become E&T engineer & will be equipped with all the modern trends in the field of Electronics& Telecommunications.This branch is developing fast & there are changes after every five years ,& the course is also updated from time to time by the Shivaji University.Infact every branch of Engg is now associated with E&T content which can not be set aside .

As every engineering activity contains of operational , control & monitoring with the feedback in any machine , device ,equipment,gadget , will be functional with at least 30% part of  E&T.With the development in the solid state physics E&T devices i.e. components & systems are becoming miniature more & more day by day.

Students will learn about all these aspects in this course .They will undergo theoretical training & also build their own kits for expermentation.They are taught to design & develop need based E&T system in their project work.They have to participate in various Seminars and present their own projects.They visit Industrial centers to get practical outlook.
