Hon.Shri.Annasaheb Dange.

 In 1986,Annasaheb Dange with a view of returning social debt, established Dnyaneshwar Shikshan Sanstha to help the community in rural areas, to develope life through education.

         Annasaheb dange was in the field of social activity since last 40 years.In the course of time he had very aptly realised the need of education centers where not only education but the vision for life is also developed.

         With this idea initially, he started Ashram shalas called primary schools secondary schools,junior colleges in arts,science & commerce faculties in senior colleges.

         Later in 1999 he felt a strong need of starting Engg. & Medical colleges.And he established the institute.The institute is financed & run by the Dnyaneshwar Shikshan Sanstha.

         In the faculty of Engg. he emphasize the need for the faculties of Electronics,Mechanical & Information technology.The institute is affiliated to The Shivaji University,Kolhapur & approved by the AICTE New Delhi.

The college was stared in August 1999 in small building and a workshop. The hostel facility was provided at a distance of two Kms. from the college & a bus was provided for the students to attend the Lectures & Practicles.

The construction of the college main building , workshop & the hostel is completed. The Laboratory and the workshop is is fully equipped.The new academic year will start in the new premises of the campus.
