COMPUTER LAB

It is a new branch in Engg with great emerging potential & World wide opportunity ,as the field is found today all pervading .In the last10 years there has been tremendous development in computer technology & software devlopement .Every year new languages are being made available ,to make the use of computers effective in a variety of business, industrial, commercial, professional,agricultural & other fields.

It is found that there are people with an Engg. degree who get additional training of some computer languages & become equipped to solve practical problem of computer applications to improve efficiency of the activity to help control the activity.But now with the development of Information & Technology faculty no hotchpotch efforts or arrangements are required to be made to attain the qualifications required for handling computer & developing software applications.

The faculty of Information & Technology deals with training a graduate in general Engg aspects such as Basic Mechanical,Electrical, Civil Engg, Electrical Machines,Measurement Techniques,Circuit Analysis, Instrumentation. IT gives emphasis on Hardware & Software Techniques such as Data Acquisition,Development of Database.It also covers the software languages.

A student with degree of Information & Technology will be a person useful for Industries ,Companies,Professional & Commercial activity.More or less he will be a person having great potential of self employment as he will be able to make software programmes for Individuals suitable for their requirements by collecting data,analyzing it & provide access to the computer for better control of the activity with the desired aim.

This field is having tremendous opportunites as the readymade packages are not fully applicable & they are to be modified or alter to suit requirements of the user & the users on the other hand have vast variety due to location, environments, degree of precision & needs of the community. Such a graduate in the Information & Technology will create his own position in the society through his personal development & will become an effective professional.
